Our adult students attend classes at conveniently located campuses throughout the state. Averett’s student body is diverse, hailing from most U.S. states and dozens of foreign countries. Night Classes for Working AdultsOur Graduate and Professional Studies (GPS) program features an accelerated format and features that specifically appeal to adult students. We realize that adult students primarily seek accessibility, curriculum consistently, time efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and highly practical knowledge. We have seen that adult students require different learning and teaching models than students who attend college straight out of high school, and we have designed our accelerated degree programs accordingly. Compared to other colleges and universities in Virginia, Averett University offers programs that are as good or better. Averett is regionally accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. In addition, all programs can be completed in as little as two years.
